What is Sonar Platinum intro offer?

I have Sonar X3 Producer, what is the difference (apart from the price) the Into Offer $149 vs. the $199 offer of Sonar Platinum?

    The intro offer is time limited and will eventually be removed. Then the upgrade price will be $199.
