What is the best Firefox Plugin to use your Browser as a mean to benifitt your Daw?


   In My Opinion, FIREFOX is the best BROWSER to use to surf the NET. TRIED AND TRUE!

Although I do wonder sometimes what the most useful or best "PLUGIN'S" are for Firefox?


I mostly use Flagfox and the newly released - Fasterfox which does make a difference. Other than that I don't use much else.

Is there anymore must have plugins for Firefox that you know of?

Just thought I would ask, because this is one of the very FEW sites that I go to to chat with others.

    I don't use any plugins for Firefox because I don't want to get that involved with being an internet user I suppose. What can you get? Like download managers and stuff like that?

    Adblock Plus.  It stops advertising from being displayed in your browser and makes the web much less annoying. It's the only crucial plugin I run.

    One thing I tested is that Opera Browser takes much less CPU than Firefox. This can be verified with the Process Explorer free utility.

    However, I still use firefox because some certain things I am set to use from firefox.

    I don't believe I currently use plug-ins. In the past I had one that would record videos from youtube, but as Firefox changed versions, it became obsolete, and I have not bothered to update it. My use of FireFox is simple, so I don't use pluging either.

    Now, Chrome (by Google) is possibly the worst offender on pc resources, at least on my past testings when it just came out. That's because Chrome runs a different instance for each webpage.

    Dictionary Spellchecker
    Adblock Plus
    Greasemonkey (with the facebook anti applications news feed script - stops all application info for appearing on your newsfeed - applications are so annoying)
    UnPlug (for one click downloading of videos)
