Can you guyz check plugins with oevrsampling or lookahead (sOftube FEt comp , elysia Nveloppe, Surfe eq)

Put a loop with kick at start for exemple , hit play , then insert another plugin after those and hit play , i'm experiencing like a delay betwenn left right the first milisseconds like a chorus or some you clearly hear a Click!!

not doing it in X1 ... so i wonder if it's the internal oversampling stuff or some ...it's not here when you bounce but here when you freeze or playbakc ...

If you're dealing with plug-ins that have a long lookahead, toggle PDC to line the tracks up. Could help, can't hurt.

I KNOW through experience,  a key reason to stability is relatively new audio interface units AND keeping the drivers and CMOS up to date.

Amen. Preach it, brother!

I was one of those "hold on to Windows 7 as long as possible" people because it worked. I lived through the Vista Wars, and tried Windows 8 on a test computer - only to recoil in horror (even after updating to 8.1). So I was loathe to try Windows 10, to say the least.

I eventually went to Windows 10 on my office computer because I had to. But after about a month into it, I updated my Studio A computer, Studio B computer, and laptop to Windows 10. Never looked back. Only wish I'd done it sooner.

BTW WASAPI Exclusive on a laptop is astonishing.

Yep first thing i tried but something wrong it's not hapenning in other daws , it's a hapepnning on my X1 also so i think it's not version related but maybe a settings thing that s why i asked you guyz to share your settings ...  what is strange Craig , is that if the plugin is the last in the FX  bin it's all good as soon as there's another one ...some wrong at first samples ....when you hit play
