What is the shorcut for minimizing(open/reopen) selected track pane?

Hello.

I'm wondering about two shortcuts.

1) I'm wondering if there are some shortcuts for minimizing(open/reopen) selected track pane.
I always have to click tiny arrow-shaped(two triangles in vertical) button on the right side of each tracks several times while working.
So I tried to search the shurtcut  for it but couldn't find.
Is there a shortcut for it or are there any methods to open/close(minimize) selected track simply?
(I found a shortcut like ctrl+shift+H but this makes track's height maximized instead of simply opening with certain height.)

2) I'm also wondering if there is a shortcut for switching between 'audio' and 'midi' in right bottom side of the inspecter of instrument track(one track including both midi and audio).

Thanks
JunL

You can hit 'F' to fit all currently visible tracks on the screen.

Ctrl + Shift + H only maximises the currently selected tracks and hides all others.

Shift + H makes all tracks visible

A double click on the track headed will maximize or minimize it back to its former state.

Thanks for the reply but those keys you said are not what I'm looking for. I already tried them, but I just want every tracks minimized except one that I selected to edit.

Thanks for the reply but I'm finding methods for not using mouse. :)
I just want not to use mouse as much as possible because of stiff wrist.

You can't do this without using the mouse. But you're already clicking once to select the track you want to edit yes? With a simple double click you can maximise it.

The only alternative I can think of is to use screensets, but that's like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.

Yes, but I'm looking for better convenience. :)

I hope that Cakewalk provide additional shortcut for "expand/collapse track pane".

I'm a little perplexed on this. How is double clicking any different from using the keyboard? It still requires one to use a finger.

Well here's an alternative - maximise ALL your tracks, then just scroll though until you reach the one you want.

Or.... wit them all still maximised, used the Track Control Manager "H" to select the one you want.

We're trying our best here to help, but I'll say again - what you want CANNOT be done, so all we can offer are workarounds.

@john - don't be concerned, it just means you have two controllers - a mouse AND a keyboard - a controller for each hand :-)

    Thx for the help.

    John//
There would be no difference between double clicking mouse button and pressing keyboard shortcuts if the area for double clicking is not small.

In my position, like I said above, I was looking for shortcut to expand/collapse selected track pane with 'suitable height' instead of maximized height.
And so I have to click the tiny arrow-shaped on the right side of the track pane using mouse and it makes my wrist stiff.
But if there isn't the shortcut for this, I need to adapt using maximized track pane easily.

The reason why I need to expanded trackpane is to view various vst plugins that is inserted to the track more than three.(it's difficult to view more than 3 vst plugins in the console view. or, btw I'm wondering if vst plugin windows in the console view can be expanded).

Well, I just found there is a method to expand/collapse track pane without using mouse but it is not simple and also need to be adapted to use easily.
Just choose a track by clicking the number of the track, then, press right arrow key of the keyboard 2 times, then press enter.
It will expand/collapse selected track pane with suitable height.
Also, pressing up or down arrow key of the keyboards will select other trackpane and in this form, pressing enter key will expand/collapse the track pane without pressing right arrow 2 times again.
It is not simple but, my wrist would be fine. :)
