What one piece of gear or software will you NEVER let go of?
One rule (will be broken within the first five posts I'm sure) is that is not something that can't be sold because of age, usability or non-WUP. IOW, something you have that you love to use and simply can not see EVER getting rid of. I'll start. My '76 Series I Alembic bass.

That is some mighty fine lookin' driftwood there ;) A year ago I would say just my 89 PRS, last few months I've been playing only my Spacy made Ophelia and for most of the stuff I like to play, a better neck was never made. Till death do us part

I NEVER seen a wall of amps like mine...that go around a corner like this. This way, it fills the whole room with sound too...even to the corners! Nice Alembic. When Stanley Clarke was the bass king, he really propelled those to the spotlight, didn't he? So...let's see the Ric

Something old and something new. My "dog-a-sonic" triple pickup custom, hand built by my (now deceased) dear friend and talented luthier, Tim Qutermous and my recently purchased LTD Edition MIJ Fender 58 Strat. There are others I'd be loathe to part with but could probably be convinced.
And of the scads of guitars I bought, resold or traded throughout these many years (including the 63/64 strat I traded in for a Morley wah wah pedal around 1970 which my best friend then bought for $250...and still has...approx value $5000 to $7000!!!) there is only one that gnaws at me daily: My beloved 1974 Gibson Les Paul deluxe goldtop. I do miss it so.

Since a glove usually goes over the hand...and this fits.. There's something unusual about this...Maybe the seat should be shaped like a hand??

Mixmkr, The Rick is gone, it was traded in with $700 for the Alembic. I want a Rick again but for now I have to do with modeling in the bass on the left (Line 6 Variax):

I assume SONAR is too obvious to mention. I believe Ozone is the one for me. That's the one software that gave me a true wow-experience. Ever reliable. I don't have any precious hardware.
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

They are Very Silver Type. I'm not old enough to have gotten the Blackface style when they were affordable. These are the smaller models that weren't changed or "improved" after CBS... so they sound very much like the pre CBS stuff. :-)
