What so special about files in ....\06-Percussion\xxxx.prog?

As show in the pic below, I installed the Dimension Pro twice, and got stuck on these several files:

What so special about these dir or files? All the others seem ok and Dimension Pro did run after I disregard several of these files in this dir, and let the installer continued to the end.

Could it be the "?" in the file name? or something else.

Yes, the "?" is a problem. A question mark is an illegal character in a Windows file name. The actual name of the file is "Batá Ambience.prog". It seems that the character set being used does not have a way to represent "á". Did not notice that in your previous post, sorry. Skipping the illegal file names in the DimPro Programs directory will not affect DimPro or SONAR performance. The files in the DimPro Programs directory are presets for the DimPro synth.

You might try temporarily setting the Windows locale to U.S. English and re-trying the installation. I've seen similar issues worked around using this trick. There can sometimes be key differences even between very similar localization settings, e.g. English (Canada) and English (US).

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

ner, it looks like the "?" is providing a command-line switch or parameter for the batch file - the .prog file being moved or copied or whatever - but only a caker could confirm this

That's really clever.
