What to EAT...???
I like Mini Ravioli in the can with loads of parmesan cheese on it, HOWEVER... I am absent minded, perhaps even vacant minded... On two shopping trips I bought a can of mini ravioli and something else... on one trip I got a can of Beefaroni, the other trip a can of Mini Dinosaurs with Meatballs. Dang it! They were where the Mini Raviolis go... I couldn't decide so I am eating both the Beefaroni and the Mini Dinosaurs (with meatballs). Parmesan cheese at my side. Eating is easy if you wait until you are about to starve.  It would be even easier if I actually bought what I thought I was buying. Eh, it all tastes about the same. They probably cook it all in the same pot, LOL. I know... I know but I am having a physical exam tomorrow. All will be well! (I don't eat like this all the time... though I DO have bad eating habits... like not eating at all until after 2:00 PM, though I get up at 8:00 AM-ish. (auto correct insists that I get up at Amish). OK, back to meh... J

A good bowl of chili with lots of cheese is a winner in my book......of course, this isn't one from your grocery list, but if I do get it from the store, I like the canned version of Stagg's habenero chili. I throw in some tapatio hot sauce and all is well. :)

2 pork & herb sausages. I slice of black pudding. Roasted veg. Jacket spud, halved, smeared with olive oil and baked till crispy at the edges.

Suggestions; Pork Butt, prepared with a fusion of American/Asian ****es, slow-cooked and naturally smoked. Yeah I say that be one heck of a smoking butt! Pork or Beef Pot Roast firstly prepared (seared) meat in hot becan fat then toss in a baking dish with diced potatoes, rutabaker, butternut squash, carrots and onions. Yeah, it was meh but it was there and easy. I had a double serving of Oatmeal, the steel cut kind, for dinner. It was NOT meh!! I like bread with my bread and have been known to have meat as a side dish with my meat!! I like sugar with my butter too! No one lives forever so one may as well live well!!

No preservatives... easy, cold right out of the can... once a month or so. My A1c was lower, my triglicerides were down, overall cholesterol down.. I am good! J

Not much in da house.
Had to make a pizza base with the last of the flour and some yeast.
Found a tin of chopped tomatoes, added some tomato purée, garlic, herbs de provence.
Small piece of cheese knocking around in the fridge has been grated.
Just giving the flattened dough time to rise a bit.
Shopping day tomorrow!
