What will X2 bring that X1 Expanded is perfect in every way.

Thats why Im with cakewalk since 1997 ........

the interface changes then baaam X1 came out I was blown away how nice the interface was,, not ugly,, very sexy, also now I can have my piano view in my other Monitor and have your console showing at all times you work on project... The fact you can have the console along with the track view go my hyped,, its amazing.  Ill upgrade to X2 I wonder what will be different or nicer.


the piano roll interface sux balls in X1 ,, in logic on mac the piano roll has real looking piano keys......  cant you make that please...

    Do you really want to judge music-making software by its visual appearance? SONAR has plenty of room for improvement in X2, none of which has anything to do with how it looks.

    Reminds me of a thread on Gearslutz where somebody asked if anyone knew of a reverb that sounded as good as ValhallaRoom but looked prettier. Of course, all of the replies mentioned plugins that cost 5 times as much, which the poster seemed to think was reasonable as long as the product looked cool. 



    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
