I'm proud of my name and I've produced more than my share of stuff far more ghastly than that. Maybe I've misread the threads purpose here though due to the ambivalence.

What ambivalence. I'm thinking that buying it and adopting a fresh stage name could be sizzzling. I don't think I'd have the patience to apply all the gold and silver foil to one of my axes. Plus, I have no idea how to get the diamond necklace attached at the edge. This seems like a good way to go right to the front of the pack. best, mike

I like the way it has the name on the top facing the player too - so that he wouldn't forget it in case someone asked.
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

mike_mccue It could be worse. Yeah, it could be me. Nice bit of gear though Mike, go for it. Need one hell of a strap to hold it up while you're throwing shapes around the stage though.

What ambivalence. The open ended ambivalence of the premise that could lead one to interpret it in several ways 1/ Fender have previously created a monster that would warrant them changing the brand. 2/ I'd want to change my name to 'Sizzzling Nashville Hank' in order to play it. 3/ 'Johnny Ross' will suit me if I want to leave the guitar as is. 4/ I'm going to distance myself and pretend not to be the OP when the thread takes a bad turn. 5/ I'll see what direction the thread takes before I declare my original intent as being any one of the above. btw you didn't finish the question with a question mark, was that deliberate? Back to the OP. I was tempted and changed my name to The Bapu once. One gentleman in particular could not say it with a straight face. Others were outraged. Some just cried.
