Anybody have a remedy for excessive earwax? Seriously, it's a problem I often suffer and it usually manifests itself as a difference in frequency response from one ear to the other.

Last week I went swimming and foolishly used a Q-tip to help get water out of my ear, which pushed the wax in and resulted in near-total deafness in one ear for several days. It's still not right but I don't want to make a trip to the doctor if I can self-treat it somehow.

Google on something like "Elephant Ears ear wash". Elephant Ears is a brand name for a ear cleaning device that is pretty much a squirt bottle with a tube attached. About $30.00. This is what my doctor uses. Also, a syringe sans needle using a tepid 50-50 mix of peroxide and H2O will to the trick, too...but you need to constantly refill it.

...Of course, with any method that involves hydraulics, one never wants to put excessive pressure on the eardrum. Do not form a water-tight seal between the device and the ear. Keep the device a bit away so whatever liquid you use can freely drain from the ear.

In this universe, but string theory paves the way for multi-verses. You know how many 3-dimensional universes you can make from 11 dimensions? Huh? Well its more than 2. not to mention all the 1-2-4-5... dimensional ones.

If string theory is to be believed then if there was no more music then that would be then end of everything.

If there were no more music in your life?

I would suffer but I would take solice in the creative energy I expend and get from my day job (software developer).

The Babu I know never suffers.
