What would you do?
Finish the project on XP 32 bit or Install X1 etc on a new DAW PC and finish in 64bit

Seems like a good opportunity to discover if 64-bit really matters.

Make the change. Any issues are definately more interesting than pizza and fried rice.

I'd rather ask what Wookiee might do. It's bound to be better than whatever I might do.

Old55 I think I'd just finish the project and start the next one in 64-bit. I'm with Jan. I installed X1/64bit before finishing projects in 8.5/32bit, and I started new projects in X1/64 but finished old projects in 8.5/32.

Thanks Greg, Spacey, Jan, Reece and any others that made a useful contribution to this discussion. Graigb we Wookiee's can be delicate too, the heart should be savoured slowly. Bubba it is good to see your true colours shine through. Ed for you I will make the exception I will leave the collection of charges to Sir Jon of Bouy and his most honourable Knight Sir Strummy.

By the time I built the new 64bit DAW I was done with all 32bit projects. Except...... I did some remixes of 32bit 8.5.3 projects in 64bit X1 (one of which The Beagle has heard, it was a mega song ).

Went for the pure madness option which was only slightly less painful than upsetting me
