What your opinion on Godzilla
What your opinion on Godzilla 2014? Will it be like tokyo classic or the 1998 American version?
In my opinion I love the classic tokyo Godzilla where he destroys everything.
The 1998 version was not as pleasing i felt took away some of Godzilla image. In one scene he's chasing a car and barley used his atomic breath, what happen to him just rampaging through the town. lol
I've seen some image of the 2014 Godzilla I'm kind of afraid might not be like the classic.
I seen "think on wiki" that 1998 version and 2014 is apparently "Baby" Godzilla.

Hi,
I keep thinking that Godzilla and all those monsters need to stay dead a few more years ... I wonder if the movie studios are so bored that they have to re-create their old movies as a way to make some money ... because we would never watch the old crap and TV doesn't show them anyway ... and the AMC is too stuffed up, sick and stupid to even do a show about the studios that made those monsters famous!
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

I'm a sucker for the old ones.
In fact, I like all of them - except the American one. That is NOT Godzilla.
The Millenium series are all pretty awesome. The Heisei too.
They're all fun.

I played on James Brolin's first studio session when he was Dr. Keily in Two Dot Recording Studios in Ojai, CA. We did a couple of country songs with him. Nice guy. He married Barbara decades later.

I thought the one with Mathew Broderick was better than people give it credit for. Sure, I understand why they weren't on the Oscar podium, but I was entertained and the fx were pretty good.

The special effects on the old Godzilla movies left a lot to the imagination *ahem*. But hey, if I had to make a movie with a 200.00 budget and lots of plastic thingys who knows what would have happened?
