What's Going On? Disappearing Envelopes

Is this a new feature? If so it's even worse than before... For some reason, my envelopes are only visible when I select them from the edit filter's list... I know they were hard to see previously, so I hadn't had a reason to notice... Until now.

If I swithc the edit filter to clip, they totally disappear...

I did remove my mod before posting this....

I am having an absolutely horrible time with the envelopes and edit filter once again... and now that I bought into using PC, I can't take these songs backwards without re-doing all my plugins to replace the PC...

I know I've been complaining about this since it came out and today is yet another day of frustration working with it...

Again I PLEAD with the Bakers to give us a bypass or "all" button so that we can avoid the use of the edit filter for those of us who do not need it's isolationist properties as much as we need the functionality of the previous system (as in 8.5.3)...

The bypass still leaves it there for those who wish to use it, but allows those who do not want to use it the choice...

Please Cakewalk.... I'm hurting!

    It doesn't solve the problem of identifying the envelopes until you click them but holding the Shift key and selecting will activate a different envelope without going to the edit filter.

    Sounds like you may have turned off "Show Ghosted Data". It's in the TV menu. View->Display->Display Ghosted Data

    They are still fairly hard to see depending on clip colour though. I'm really hoping they bring back popups on mouse-over. That'll make the SHift+click selection method just about perfect.

    I would lighten the clips pane background color too if you tend to use a darker background (I do).  I don't like the lighter background as much, but at least it makes the ghosted envelopes more visible.

    Yes, I've been a frequent voice complaining about that too... Even a simple mouse-over to display each name would solve that problem for me...

    Not that I'm aware of. It's probably one of those things that's saved per project. Perhaps you started from a template with it off? Or maybe there is a shortcut somewhere. Fingers crossed for the envelope popups putting in an appearance soon.
