What's for dinner?

Man..... !!!!  I fixed some Venison Chili yesterday.

2 lbs of hamburger venison. Brown in a skillet and drain the little bit of fat off..... no need to chop it up finely.... large chunks are good. A can of black beans, can of kidney beans, can of diced tomato, can of cubed tomato, dash of salt, dash of pepper, 2 onions cut up.....throw it all in a crock pot and run it on high for 3 hrs or so then back off to low and let it run a few more hours.....

It's ready to rock....

I knocked back 1.5 bowls of the chili and washed it down with some home brewed dark Irish beer.  Talk about good eatin!

    Lunch was good....

As far as feeding the backyard buzzards meat products..... no.... the only meat they can get is from bugs when I let them roam the yard.  I do, however, throw tomatoes, pineapple rinds, apple cores, weeds I pull, and this morning I fed them a bag of grapes my wife bought and told me not to eat because it was for a turtle she had..... well she forgot about the bag of grapes and they were in rough shape..... so the chickens got them. My neighbor gave me 2 boxes of pomegranates so I will see if they like those things..... the rest will go to my hunting spot.... for white tail. <<<<< more venison for more chili and sausage and grillin.

    Salmon.
    (no, not Rushdie)

I simply sprinkle on some lemon juice, garlic butter and real butter. Broil for 13 minutes @ 500.

    Perfect.
    (unlike me)

Last night..... true to her word, my wife fixed BECON and eggs for supper with ****y hashbrowns..(oops I forgot about the censors....S-P-I-C-Y) ... heavenly.....!  I fixed coffee and ...well...what else is there to say at this point?

Later in the evening..... I had this

the first bottle of a lighter beer...... I've been brewing the darker ales and decided to do a batch of something that light will actually pass through.
