What's the best way to burn your final project onto CD?
I am just about to finish a 5 song EP, and I am wondering what is the best method to tackle the start and stop times in between songs. I have heard that the pros take their final tracks and import them into one project. Once they are all side by side and playing exactly how they want them, they export it as 1 big WAV file containing all the songs. Then in a burning program, they use the software to manually put in the track breaks, and they play seamlessly. If someone has a better method, I would love any tips. Thanks in advance!

DAW software may have a "Create CD Tracks/Markers" function. I know the app I use has one.
When you set them like you would when noting songs sections, each part should be separated when everything is mixed down/exported to file.
Measure 1-16 = Song 1
Measure 18-34 = Song 2

Use the one project to master.... one song per track with common master FX..... but export them ONE at a time..... to a new folder as waves.
Any decent burner should automatically place 2 seconds between the songs for you. It is adjustable but 2 sec works fine.

I think exporting to separate wavs and using any burning program is by far the fastest way. I don't know how much benefit there is in arranging all in one project first, some for sure.
Having separate wavs is practical anyway, if you want to convert only some songs to MP3 or such.

This is EXACTLY what I do - burning courtesy of CD Architect Me, too. Although just about any general-purpose CD-burning application can accomplish it. I used Nero for years before switching to CDA.
