What's the policy on mentioning items for sale?

As the heading says - I'm selling off a few pieces (interface and mic pre), but I won't start a thread if that's not kosher. Is there a better place on the forums, or is it not appreciated at all?

    Not allowed. Use eBAY.

PS: I've had good luck selling old music equipment on eBAY.

    it's against TOS rules.

However....... I have seen it done discretely but not in this forum..... it is not something that Cake or we want to see get started.

On occasion I have seen a regular member casually mention they have some gear for sale and need money to pay bills...... and another caker offer to assist them..... but no..... I do not recommend or endorse violating the TOS rules.
