What's your Day Like Today?
Today I am going to do some cleaning around the house.
Cut the grass if it ever stops raining and gets dry enough.
Practice my bass - specific study a Ray Brown transcription (Blues for Basie)
teach two guitar lessons this evening.
Prank call Bapu....... 5 times.
Watch a movie on apple TV and fall asleep in my bed while my wife complains I have the fan on to high
Then tomorrow is a new day.

I'm finalizing the sale of my Mercedes. It's been a great car, but I just don't drive it that much and I got a great offer.
Practice the 2 songs I've been recruited to play at a private event later in September. Haven't done a solo acoustic
performance in years. Kind of exciting.
I'm playing golf this afternoon with some good friends. Going to be in the upper 70's. Nice!
Dinner with golf buddies and quite possibly consume adult beverages.

My wife spent the summer doing an art project each week with a different collaborator. One week they wrote a song, one week they recorded a choral piece (that they didn't write), one week she did a painting, photography, comedy skit, etc.
She's got her final project, compiling everything for an art show, tomorrow night.
So tonight I'm helping her to stage it.
That's much more exciting than the next 7 hours I'll spend sitting in a cubicle pretending to work.

So weird ... I have not had any issues with W10 at all, and the only error or two here and there were in WoW, and it had to do with buffers and caches, which resolved the issues.
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Well, this morning looked like this: 8:05 Sales Hunter huddle 8:30 Weekly 1:1 with Training and Implentation Director 9:00 Weekly 1:1 with Development Director 9:30 1:1 meeting with my assistant (since my support manager was out) 10:00 Weekly 1:1 meeting with my Finance Director 10:30 Met with management team for an hour to discuss product backlog prioritization 11:30 Phone call with client to discuss peer groups 12:00 Lunch with my wife at a new Korean restaurant. Oh, you said FOR FUN. Nevermind.  The entire afternoon is blocked off for ME to work on projects, then maybe some music (bought some new VSTs to play with) or XBox One later, so there is light at the end of the tunnel...

[rant] Count yourself lucky. I've had bunches of Office products just "stop working" and quite a few of the new BSOD's. It keeps changing my file associations back to their crappy products instead of the ones I want, it won't even let me use some of the programs "I" want, it never installed a service that's required for Hyper-V to work (I use virtual machines), I've had it where you couldn't left or right-click on the start button, search icon or task viewer (which makes the PC useless). There are other things too, I just can't think of them off the top of my head. Oh yeah, and it's "waiting" for some reason before letting me upgrade to the most current version (the so-called "Anniversary" version). What a PITA... I've spent more time fixing my own equipment than I have on customer's (where I can at least get paid). Very annoying! [/rant]
