What's going on with R-Mix?

What's going on with R-Mix?

Do you have to own a copy of X2 to R-Mix with SONAR?

This may be the one thing I regret about not buying X2.

best regards,
mike

Apparently that is the case Mike...

They aren't including it in this release..so if you don't already have it,
then you won't get it...same with V-Vocal...not included, as Melodyne
    is now included...

It makes sense to me that it works this way.

    Thanks for explaining.

R-Mix with SONAR actually allowed for editing 24bit audio where as R-Mix freestanding only works with 16bit.

I'd buy the free standing if it would work with 24bit. I may end up buying a copy of X2 before it's over with.

    best regards,
    mike

I still can't get R-Mix to work. Just gives me a white interface with no display every time.

    Loads and works fine here.

Are you running SONAR as Admin? I always do. Make sure your desktop shortcut is checked to run as Admin.

Yeah running as admin...the funny thing is that it worked the first time I tried it, then when I went back to it a few weeks later it didn't work and it never has since.

sharke... not sure how you'd be able to uninstall just R-Mix but an uninstall then custom install of just R-Mix might fix it. Sounds like the program guts got borked. It is a very worthwhile program to have and yes, McQ... I'd say it is worth the $50 for X2. Not sure if Cake is still selling it though.

Yep I will try that, thanks. I know it's possible to get it to work because it did work at one time.

Curious to see how that works out. R-Mix is pretty much what pushed me over the edge to upgrade to X2. The new batch of stuff does not hold the same level of interest.
