What's the deal with the metronome?

Does it do everything we think it does?

The metronome has always gone "click  click  click  click" for me and can now go "click-tick click-tick click-tick click-tick" too.

Perhaps you should get the discussion started with your thoughts on the metronome in X1d?

There used to be a timing issue but that has now been resolved I think. Why what is wrong with the metronome?

Mine goes Tock-tick-tick-tick-Tock-tick-tick-tick if the project is set to 4/4.

    Is this wrong?

I hope not. I don't want to have to re-record everything at a greater resolution.

On my laptop IT IS GONE....Dissapeared!!! X1d did not fix it,or the other issue where every single project MUST have the Audio re-applied in Prefs.

I work around it, as the Lap is for the net/ sketch ideas, and learning and REAL work is done on my desktop...and that ones flawless.

Iv'e tried to get support to help but no dice, but yeah NEVER had the metronome audible on the Dell laptop[april 2011 i7]

If you use the metronome and it disappears then you have a completely different outlook from someone who has one that works or who doesn't use it. When someone says create a click track you think that one day their roof will blow off and you can say well buy a brolly so you don't get wet or if their car breaks down, you can point to the bus stop and say have a nice journey. Yes, you can get by but you kind of want what you paid for. Seems fair.

Mike, it is always interesting to ready your first question.  I get the strong feeling there is MUCH behind it.  Why not just get to it right off the bat?  It is interesting though to see where the posts go.

Metronome works fine for me in pre-record, record and playback.
