I like this song on several levels.  However, the overall mix seems to get in the way a bit.  First, the vocals sound good, but I had a hard time understanding the lyrics because the vocals just weren't quite loud enough.  Second, there seems to be very little panning going on.  Most every element in the mix seems pretty close to the center, and the overall mix was rather narrow which made individual elements hard to pick out.  And, finally, it just seems a bit muddy as if there were a blanket between me and the music.  I admit, it's early morning, and my ears are still waking up, but I usually go on my first impression, though I listened to this twice.  Still, the song has a kind of Grateful Dead feel which gives it a free form sound which I like.  If you were to change anything, you wouldn't have to do much to make this a gem.  All in all, a good effort.

    All the best,
    Lynn

Its a great song, Lee... I really like it.  And I like your voice, And how you sang it... Kinda nonchalant and distant in a nice way.  I'd agree that the mix needs more definition, but I'll be checking out your the songs, too.

Thanks so much! Yeah, the mix on this one was a bit of a struggle. It come out pretty well in my opinion, but in retrospect the vocals during the verses were a bit buried. Next time! Very much appreciate you taking the time to listen :) Lee

Thanks so much, your insight is very much appreciated. Yeah...this song was a bit tricky to get it right...should have made the vocals on the verse pop a bit more, but live and learn. Best, Lee

Could have sworn I commented on this.

Anyway, this is a fabulous tune.  I think you have some great skills as an artist. Not sure how old you are (your voice sounds "young", but that is often meaningless). But if you are not an over-the-hill middle aged fart like me, you have a what it takes to make it (with luck and hard work).

I will be keeping an eye on you I think.
