What's up with Ctrl-W? [SOLVED]

Yesterday I tried using Ctrl-W to toggle on and off the "return to the now time" feature.  It toggled it off fine.  But when I tried to toggle it back on, instead it un-hid all my tracks in track view.  I tested it several times and it was always the same thing.

I was really excited about that key binding, and am disappointed.

Is anyone else having that problem or is it just me?

I am using X1d.

Thanks in advance,

Tom

Control-W only toggles stopping at the now marker and rewind.

The space-bar is still the controller for stopping and starting.

And Ctrl spacebar with do the opposite of spacebar depending on what you have Ctrl W set to.

I re-tested this in both X1 Expanded and Producer with the D patch and both seem to be working correctly, but to be clear...

[W] pressed by itself will return the Now time back to the beginning of the project (RTZ). This will work both during playback and when the now time is stopped at some place other than zero within the project.

Ctrl+W will toggle On/Off "On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker" in the Options dropdown in the TV.

I hope that clears up your question / concern Tom

I understand the difference between W and Ctrl W.  I am glad you tested it.  I will try it again, but my first test of this simply unhid all of my tracks in TV.
