When I turn Magnetic Strength "OFF" is that global or per project???

When I turn Magnetic Strength "OFF" is that global or per project???

Cause I want it to be global or the default.  I tried saving it as my normal template but I don't think it maintained it.  Which is it?

    Oops.  Sorry, I guess.  I just went back and redid my Normal template again setting Magnetic Strength to "Off" and then saving it.  And this time it did maintain it.  Is that the only way to make it "global" or the default??

    Right now its a per-project setting. That might (and hopefully will) change in the future, though. SP

    Hey Ol pal, one of my pet peavey's with X1 is the global/per project preference info. I have posted on the subject several times and have also submitted a few feature requests related to preferences issues. Don't miss the opportunity, put in a request for change.
