HBD, I've been there since January. It isn't so bad but for knowing that in 20 years we will be 84, but I plan to live to 134 so I'm not worried. I've known since I was a small child that I would live to be 134. I know... but I've always believed that. If I'm wrong maybe someone will let you know.

Welcome to the world of waiting to find out how much your Medicare insurance premiums are going to be!
I'll find out this August. When you start Social Security, they screw you out of one month's payment. My birthday is on the 26th, so I get my SS check on the fourth Wednesday of the month. My birthday is in August; my first SS payment came in September.
But when it's time for them to start taking your Medicare premium out of your SS check? Yup. You guessed it. They grab it the first month; no one month freebie.
And you can't get a real quote for alternatives until you're 3 months from 65. I'm a disabled vet, so I have that coverage (better prescription drug coverage than any of the alternatives), so I may just go with USAA's Medigap.

And again when you die. Because my wife died on the 26th of the month, I had to repay them the SS check she'd received earlier that month. But to be fair, they did give me a $250 death benefit that I only had to stand in line two hours for.
