When Jazz Is Green
This was a quick little thing I made up as I went along. I was trying to figure out how to record something with my little midi keyboard. The results are the simply played cellos in the background. The intro and coda are me trying to figure out how to use clip automation. The sounds are panned left to right while the volume rises, and then right to left as the volume fades...Hahaha good enough, I know how that works now. Anyway I like the guitars so, I kept it. The title is just an old saying of mine, ya know if Blues are blue then Jazz must be green. This certainly isn't Jazz. Thanks for listening! http://soundcloud.com/clintmartin/when-jazz-is-green-wav

I guess you got that figured out. This is one tasty jam track. Your playing and tonal variations are killer. Please keep posting your learning experiences.

Cool guitar jam. However, the same thing over and over gets monotonous. There were some interesting changes thrown in but they vaporized. If you add some changes and dynamics you could have a really good tune.

Nice groove. (Will not say anything about the drums)

Damn, the next slow funk tune I have, I need to get you to do a guitar solo, your gifted. All around a great groove, it is a bit monotonous if you don't usually like this type of stuff to be honest though. Anyway, good work, look forward to more. Cian

Wookiee Nice groove. (Will not say anything about the drums) Hahaha! I'm working on it. I can't do much with these first 6 songs though, unless I completely redo them. I have a lot of other songs I'm dying to record, so hopefully I'll take the lessons I've learned, and do a better job in the future. Rikkie, whack, markno999, daryl1968, pistolpete, timidi, and Lynn. Thanks for listening, and I agree the song is weak on changes and dynamics...but it served it's purpose, and I ended up liking it. I may come back to this one someday.
