When the live version is better than the album version (John Martyn)

Just thought I'd share this for any John Martyn fans out there. Came across this live version of "Small Hours" which sends shivers down my spine and blows the album version away. Sigh, I wish I had a voice like this. He also sounds 1000x better than me with delay and volume pedals lol.

    I bet we could make quite a good thread of bands that sound better live than in the studio...

    Thanks Sharke, JM is probably my all-time favourite solo artist, Wookiee is a big fan too. I love that version of Small Hours, and remember when the show was first aired in the UK. Wonderful stuff.
