Dimension LE was included with S7. It does not include GPO. Did you purchase Dimension Pro?

I think I recall that LE came with Garitan pocket orchestra. edit to add: Confirmed. There is indeed a directory of GPO content included with Dimension LE

Insert>Soft Synth to find DimPro and the Garritan library is a subset in the DP patch menu.

I been looking in the plug in manager and nothing, does not appear in the synth rack list, if the GPO is with DPL I still can't find it, no in vst's, plugin manager, fx's,....  Thanks for your replies.

im still on sonar 5 but, maybe it does not include all fx & softsynth by default when installing sonar dvd, have a try put the dvd in the dvd-drive,then uncheck all and select only the soft-synth instruments cheer

OK, we need to clarify.
You've called this DP and DPL... are we all talking about the same thing? What soft synth are YOU talking about? Are you aware that the GPO we are speaking of is simply a small collection of samples that is a subset of the sounds one would load into Dimension LE? You are not going to see Garitan Pocket Orchestra as a plugin... are we all on the same page with this?
That said I think martin just offered a reasonable suggestion. Give his advice a shot.

GPO is a sound library available in Dim LE in SONAR 7 PE Insert an instance of DIM LE and click on a little icon in DIMension GUI that looks like a file icon. It brings up a menu. Look for Load Program and then look through the list for GPO and away you go,

DPL = Dimension Pro Lite GPO = Garritan Pocket Orq. They comes with S7 ( I read about it) and still can't find it, nor in the plugin maganer or fx list.

When you Insert Synth from the Synth Rack, you should find Dim LE as an option. Click on that and also choose Show Properties. This should open the screen of Dim LE. Then, using Mudgel's picture as a guide, clicking on the icon will give you a list of families of sounds. One of these should be Garritan Pocket Orchestra which will have another "tree" underneath from which you can select various sounds.
It is NOT the complete set of sounds from Garritan Personal Orchestra and they do not use the same controls of G(Personal)O. These sounds are controlled through the Dim LE interface.

there was a thread about 2 months ago or so, (i cant remember the exact title of the thread,but it was something like) plug-in not show up the OP explained that he cannot see most of vst fx and also most of the soft-synths. someone cam up replying that the problems was not the plugin manager, but more to do with the custom menu-layout not pointing at the right folder or something like that. i cant be more of help now,maybe someone remember the thread im talking about? cheer

The problem is the Dimension is not in the sinth rack list by the way I can find the compressor 64 from sonar and the eq64 in the fx list. I been looking in all the places that you are pointed and still nothing. I'll will reinstall everything.

something simaler happened to me once. I'm no expert but I solved it by going to C:/program files/cakewalk....and look around,I found it there and copied the dll and pasted it into my shared VST folder then it all worked,,,,,,this may not be exsactly right but I suspect its something to do with the dll file..
the GPO is just some samples within Dim ...good luck

Dang man. Just uninstall SONAR and reinstall making sure the Dimension Pro LE plugin is check marked during the installation steps
