Where are the audio profiles

Hi,

In the documentation regarding audio driver bit depth > 16 bit, one can read:

Note: Using an audio driver bit depth that is greater than 16 means you also need to choose a preferred setting in the Stream >16 Bit Data As field in Edit > Preferences > Audio - Audio Profiles.

I can't find the option anywhere. Does someone know where I can configure this Stream >16 Bit Data As ?

It's only for non ASIO - like WDM drivers as I recall.

Otherwise there are things to configure in Preferences-> Audio ->Audio profiles

If you want to run ASIO, change that for device first.
It's on Playback and recording part of Audio preferences.

Yes, Audio Profiles will only appear as an option when Preferences > Audio > Playback and Recording "Driver Mode" is set to a value other than ASIO. Generally SONAR gets the "Stream >16Bit Data as" setting correct.

Often when questions like this pop up, the real issue is how to create projects at 24bit or higher. Once the driver is set in Audio Preferences, make sure to go to Preferences > File > Audio Data and set the "Record Bit Depth." This is the setting shown in the transport module.
