Where are these PlatinumSamples "Kit" supposed to be saved?

I was sorting VST plugins where all my VST's are l;ocated ( C:\vst_daw\vst_64 )
and found "Kits" with 1-8 folders (1-Bass Drums PlatinumSamples_Legends Bass Drum, 2- Snares, etc.)

Most of my sample libraries are on an external drive. I'm not sure why or how they were installed to this location.
..I don't think these should be installed with VST, please confirm.
Thanks!

where ever you installed session drummer to, you should install PS to the same directory.
its triggered by the SFZ samples and those samples are stored in the same directory as the factory content that comes with Session Drummer 3

    which is C/program files/cakewalk/vst plugins/session drummer 3/content/kits

I install Sonar and its included VSTs on my base C:\ drive (Default install)
(that includes all sample content that goes with the SD3, dim pro samples, Rapture samples, exc, exc, exc.)
the library's are small and not worth the headache.

larger library's on the other hand, are on my 2cnd HD.
when you install platinum samples it installs to the correct location where session drummer is.
if you changed that then your guess is as good as mine where it is and if it works correctly.

Based on the file names that sounds like the Platinum Samples "Rock Legends" kit we got with the X2 Content Club. IIRC it was a separate download so you must have installed it using the PS installer's default location(s).

Not sure though. I guess you could check your store account (actually I think you need to check your Platinum Samples account) to make sure it is still there, remove the current files from your system and redownload/reinstall it to your desired location.

Do not confuse "Platinum Samples" with Sonar "Platinum". PS is a company that creates sound libraries to use in stuff like BFD and they created some packs for Session Drummer back in the day.

I have that Rock Legends kit for both SD3 and BFD Eco. The one for SD3 came from the Content Club (Cakewalk) and I think the BFD library came as a bonus from FXPansion for buying BFD Eco.

    Cheers.
