Where did my loop library go?

Before I had to re-image my computer, I had Sonar X2 Producer installed on top of Sonar X1 Producer installed on top of Sonar 6 Producer.  With that setup, in the media browser I recall having *tons* of loop samples (literally hundreds, perhaps thousands), from which I primarily chose drum loops.  One of them is called Kickandsnare-Outtamyhouse-130_Rex (I somehow managed to salvage that one in a saved project).  Since the re-image, I installed only Sonar X2 Producer and the library of available loops has diminished considerably.

My question is ... did all the loops I enjoyed before come with a previous installation?  Or am I forgetting where I actually found all these loops and simply not looking in the right place?

The Kickandsnare-Outtamyhouse-130.Rx2 is part of the  5+ GB of files included in "Loops and One Shots"  with X2 Producer. The files are installed in "Cakewalk Content"

If you are installing the download version of X2 Producer, the loops are in three files:
    03_Loops_And_One_Shots.part1.exe
    03_Loops_And_One_Shots.part2.exe
    03_Loops_And_One_Shots.part3.exe

Ahh, yes!  Thank you.  Because the simple installation of Sonar X2 itself came with a handful of loops, I thought I was missing out.  Seems I simply forgot to reinstall the huge library.  Thanks so much!!

Just in case you forgot Dimension Pro has a separate installer too. If you used Beatscape, it has a separate installer that is part of X1 Producer. The synth was dropped from X2 but the loops are included in the X2 "Loops and One Shots."

Thanks for this too.  I am going through all my downloaded files and reinstalling everything.

I also noticed that I no longer have the Lexicon Pantheon.  Is that something that stopped shipping as well at some point since Sonar 6?

Yes, SONAR 8.5 Producer was the last version to include the Lexicon Pantheon

Same thing happened to me - on a clean install the "Cakewalk Content" folder was hidden by Windows 10, so sonar couldn't see the content and no loops were visible in the media browser. I had to select "show hidden files" in windows explorer (the Cakewalk Content now visible) and restart Sonar. Then Sonar could see them and my content library was full.

    Welcome to the forums.
You really shouldn't have to show hidden files in windows explorer settings because the location of loop content is in the
main C:\ directory or more precisely: C:\Cakewalk Content\Audio Library

So im not sure why you needed to have hidden files shown to see these files unless you have them stored some where other than their default location.
Also this thread being almost 5 years old a lot of things change as time goes on. I always wondered why new forum members bump old threads for their first post. But I think I did the same exact thing.
Sometimes its a post you see that makes you join the forums so you can get in on the chat. What ever it is, Glad you are here.
