Where do you set the default 'Author' and 'Copyright' information in CbB?
Hi,
Can anyone tell me where you set the default 'Author' and 'Copyright' information in CbB.
Every time I export a file in .WMA format I have to over-type this information and would like to amend the default settings to save me a job.
Any ideas?

Would an export preset do the job?
SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre - Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc. The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

The information resides in the Notes section.
Open the template you use (from scratch), edit the information, then re save the template.
Should be good from there.

The Notes Browser is a place where you can store information about a project, such as song title, artist name, album title, and lyrics or other information you want to keep track of. You can even add custom artwork that will be displayed in the start screen.  Read the information here in the Documentation section for Cakewalk ~~~> Here.

Thank you for your replies.
In the notes section this information is already pre-populated. I wanted to know where CbB gets the default information shown there + whether it is a file that can be amended.
Thinking about it, I could alternatively just update the notes section prior to exporting and this would be present for all future exports.
Not a big issue + I should stop being so such a lazy CbBer.

You can define your own project template(s) that includes your 'Author' and 'Copyright' information!
... many years before ...

prolly gets the default info from your registration/license info? not sure that could be (nor should be?) editable

Is the info entered into the notes tab supposed to become embedded into the rendered wav or mp3 tag? If so, it's not working that way for me.  John B
