Where is Lexicon reverb?

So Lexicon reverb is not part of Sonar anymore? Do I have to install the full Sonar 8.5, or is there another way to get the lexicon reverb in X1? Thanks

The Lexicon Pantheon is no longer included with Sonar X1. If you do a custom install of 8.5, however, you can selectively install the Pantheon and nothing else. Since I started playing around with the Perfect Space convolution reverb, I'm not sure I will miss the Pantheon. It sounds way better to me than the Pantheon ever did.

Speaking of Perfect Space, there are some really good, not expensive IRs out there that you can use with this reverb... some spaces come to mind as MOREVOX and RSO.  Also, some really good guitar and bass cabinets from ReCabinet.

And, a bunch of FREE ones around the net.

Sometimes, when I open an old project, I like to have it as it was mixed... Perfect space is a convolution reverb, takes a lot of power! I'll check it out see how it works in my projects. Thanks

I still use Pantheon. It's different to Perfect Space, I don't really have a worse / better view on that. It's great for certain kinds of mixes.

    Ditto.

Pantheon was never my favorite reverb, but when I once went into an old project that used it and tried to replace it with something else, nothing else really worked. I'm really more a fan of algorithmic reverbs over convolution anyway. Perfect Space is nice but it's rarely what I reach for first.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

Can you give a few scenarios where you might use one versus the other?

    Thanks,
