Where is Reason Rewire??

I'm really hating Sonar X1 so far.. I think all the improvements to the interface are stupid and nothing makes sense anymore. I think Cakewalk should really consider firing half their staff and replacing them with people who specialize in INTERFACE.

And for other news...

WHERE is my Reason Rewire option disappeared to?  I upgraded to Reason 5 and it's still not there, what do I have to do to rewire reason to Sonar X1?

Thanks

Wow! If you are running X1 64 bit there is no rewire for it.  That is because its a 32 bit issue. If you need to rewire Reason to X1 you will need to install the 32 bit X1 version.

Yes it is odd. One would think after so long Propellerhead would have written 64 bit rewire.

With Cakewalk's help the REX library was finally updated to 64 bit.

why can't the 2 companies get together to so;ve this issue once and for all.

I just know (hope) that rewire 64 will be (should be) in X1D come end of November (Q1 2012).

How difficult can it be to code? Just copy and paste and jigger it around a bit.

Studio One has been 64 bit Rewire capable since version 1 (before 64 bit rewire was released at the beginning of this month)

It's the only DAW currently that you can use for 64 bit Rewire on PC as far as I know.

Thanks for that info. I hadn't seen any official word and just thought they couldn't be bothered.

think thats a bit harsh, give em enough time. .. but well , in my opinion the finger pointing can be done at props solely, much like the pigs ear (that apparently is an "update" ) they've done on the new version of recycle and the prelonged wait for rex/rewire 64
