Where is my EZdrummer?

Hi
I have Music Studio 6 Touch and Windows 7 64Bit.
I have all my VST-Instruments in one VSTi Folder. I give it to the option and he find all the instruments, but not the ezdrummer. I choose the folder exactly a second time and click on "Search vor VST Instruments", but the ezdrummer is still missing.
Can anyone Explain, how i get it, or is it incompatible?

Thanks
Andreas

I'm not on my DAW right now.... but, in my DAW, as I go in to select the synth I may want to use, some of the synths are in subgroups on that list.

If a synth or other is in a sub group, there will be an arrow beside it's name to show there is another menu level to open.

I don't know how some of the things got into the sub levels of the menu but they did. They open fine in those levels.... but you have to look for them.  Some of my stuff was "missing" until I looked in some of those menus.

See if that is the case for you as well.

BTW: some of my FX are the same way.

Compatibility is not a problem, as long as you installed the current 32bit version of EZDrummer. Make sure a path to the ezdrummer.dll is defined in Edit > Preferences > File > VST Settings "VST Scan Folder(s)". It does not have to be the full path to the dll, the VST scanner will search subdirectories for VST plug-ins and build a menu hierarchy based on the directory structure.

You may also want to make sure that the EZDrummer is installed correctly by running the Toontrack solo.

Yes... As I say: I have ALL VST-Instruments in ONE Folder. This Folder ist set as "VST-Instrument Folder". And all the Instruments are Shown, except ezDrummer..
As "Stand Alone" it runs fine, and in other DAWs it runs too..

The only thing i don't know yet, if i installed the 32 or 64 Bit Version of ezDrummer (i don't know if there was a choice of it.. Dont think so, huh?).

i heared about, that Music creator has some problems under Windows 64Bit to accept some VSTi.. Maybe that is the problem.. :(

If it is the 64bit version, it will indicate so to the right of the version number in the bottom right-hand side of the UI. You should be running version 1.3.3. I do not believe there should be an issue running EZD in MC6T. It would be the first time I read about CW DAW not running Toontrack software. In the past, it has always been either an installation problem with EZDrummer or the dll was not in the scan path. It should not matter but are you running MC6 as administrator?

Se thing happened to me when I upgraded from 32-bit MC3 to 64-bit X2S. I had Dreamstation and Project5 plugs placed into a LOT of projects, now I have to either rework all of them to fit X2 or just finish them up in MC3.

This is a new user with a 32bit version of a CW DAW trying to get a VSTi recognized by the app. Why would you choose to confuse the issue? Moving from a 32bit version of a DAW to a 64bit version presents a completely different challenge. The problem here has nothing to do with old 32bit projects running 32bit DXi plug-ins in a 64bit host.
