Where is the Delete Marker button?
In SONAR X1, I have the markers module showing the add marker, next, previous and marker select buttons, but how do I delete a marker?. The manual shows the marker delete as a "-" icon, but I don't see it.

Found it. Did know about the Views/Markers (Alt+Shift+4) menu. That really makes it easier :) Perhaps a delete function could be added to the Markers Module drop down list to keep this basic operation in the same place you go to add marker.

garrigus You can also just left-click and hold the mouse button on the marker and press Delete on your PC keyboard. Thanks Scott. Yea, that's like real easy.!!! Wonder who was paying attention when this was decided? Right click should have a drop-down menu with a delete selection. Been asking for it for years. But, right click displays a dialog that requires extra attention. The drop down menu should therefore have an option to display the marker properties dialog, which would also have a delete option. And: it would be great to be able to quick-insert a marker when the transport is stopped that would not display the dialog. Conrtol-M? Don't get me started.

garrigus Glad to help, J! Yeah, it takes an extra key press, but if you press M + Enter, that will insert a marker. It will be blank (no name or Groove-clip pitch), but it still works as a marker and shows up in the Markers view. Scott -- The man knows everything. Now, if he would only write a book!

By the way i would have really liked an update of markers in X2 , something more easy on eyes like clips , legos that those small flags (at least an option to choose the display) ....until then , still using fake clips ;)
