Where is the Event Inspector Tool??

In S 8.5.3, this tool is one of my favorites because I can select  a midi clip, and change the velocities or note durations by a percentage, or put in a fixed value.

But in X1, I can't find it!

Please someone tell  me it's  still available in X1, and how do I get to it?

(Btw, I am not referring to  the Event List view.....)

Hope someone can help!

Thanks.

It's a module in the control bar at the top.  If you can't see it, right click up there and see if it's currently 'off screen'.  If so, untick one of the others and tick the Event Inspector to make it visible.

Definitely watch Scott's video - opened my eyes for other uses of the EIT.

Scott, is it possible to make the Event Inspector module  a floating window and assign a keyboard shortcut to it?

I'm able to do this with S 8.5.

    Thanks again.

You can't detach Event Inspector or any other module from the Control Bar.

    Hmmm.....that's unfortunate....

......Too many unnecessary mouse clicks to show and hide modules in the Control Bar.

I'tis a bit awkward unless you have 1920x1080 resolution. The other option is to undock it and drag it back and forth to access the module in need. Still the max number of modules is 10 out of 13.

Or the other alternative is to view it across 2 monitors.

This obviously has other, greater benefits than just being able to view the Control Bar
