Where is the Rapture manual ?
I installed Rapture 1.22 that came with Sonar X2 Producer. The manual is nowhere to be seen. Not even on the Cakewalk Site. Anyone?

Hit F1 with the Rapture GUI in focus.

You can also find that document, as well as the PDF manual here: - Program Files > Cakewalk > Rapture > Documentation
And you might want to consider editing your first post to remove the expletive.

Of course I had already tried that before unleahsing my Anger here. Happens nothing when I hit F1. I did a search of all .chm files installed on my System. Rapture's is not among them.

Or if there's a specific problem you're having, why not (politely) ask the question in a new thread.

In that Folder there are just 2 files: Registartion.html and Standard.css I am just very furious at Cakewalk. Like many others...

I see, in which case you might need to contact Cakewalk directly then. All the relevant contact details can be found HERE. In the meantime, if you PM me your email address, I'll send you the PDF manual.

Bub, mine is version 1.22 as well. Here's what I see in the Documentation folder: That's the x64 version, I don't have the 32bit version installed.

This seems to be the case with several vi's. I have nothing for Dimension Pro either.

No manual here either. That is an obvious oversight. EVERYTHING should come with a manual!

SteveStrummerUK Bub, mine is version 1.22 as well. Here's what I see in the Documentation folder: That's the x64 version, I don't have the 32bit version installed. All I have is the last two files in your list there. Ain't that odd? I don't have the 32 Bit versions installed either, just the 64. I can't remember if I installed this from X1 or X2. I think X1 because there were no differences between the versions of it between X1 and X2, and I keep all my VST's and Samples on a separate drive. I skipped Rapture, Dim Pro, and Session Drummer. Saved tons of time. When I hit F1, I get the little blue swirly icon like Windows 7 is thinking about something, then it stops, and nothing opens up. It's just a basic synth it looks like. I can't imagine there's anything in the manual that you can't find out how to do. There are installation issue's, but that's covered on their web site. EDIT: Mine is Version 1.22 also.

Cakewalk are offering a pretty decent deal on this Rapture Tutorial video. Only $5. Sounds like good value to me. http://www.store.cakewalk...ductid=30-SARP1.00-20E Check out YouTube as well there are a number of Rapture tutorials on there. The manual is a good starting point. I have the manual as well from an 8.5 install. I bought the Mini Moog expansion pack and it sounds killer!

The PDF is 73 pages long. Quite a bit of interesting stuff in there mate. PM your email and I'll fire you over a copy.

Steve, I can't believe we are the only two that have the Rapture PDF installed. FYI, the Rapture expansion packs have been out for ages. Another good source for free Rapture and DimPro patches is patcharena.com.

Also curious why it's not on Cake's web site. All manuals should be on a "manuals" page.

Yeah, that was a poor choice of wording on my part. What I was thinking was it looked like a typical synth to me with the LFO's and all the other parts of it.

Yes, they did include hardcopy manuals years ago, just like SONAR. I have not looked at them in some time. I recall that Simon Cann's "Cakewalk Synthesizers" was a better resource.

First I'll say that in general the main Sonar manual is great. That being said the state of the rest of the documentation is horrible. It either doesn't exist or it's scattered about in different folders. There needs to be one place for all documents. Maybe it's all good on some versions but I did a clean install of X2 64 bit and all is not good here with the documentation.
