Where is the appdata patch

Where is the appdata patch

Hello All
 
Having problem reinstalling Cakewalk 7 Studio on my Vista machine. It tell me that Cakewalk is not installed correctly and to reisntall, which doesn't help.
 
I found this  Not sure that's the entire URL.
 
But it tells me to download and run the appdata patch and provides a link.
 
But when I click the link, it sends me back to the knowledge base page. If I use "save target" option, it saves an HTML copy of the knowledge base page. Same in IE and Chrome. Anyone know where this appdata patch is?
 
I checked my registry, and that key the knowledge base mentions seems to be missing, as suggested in the article.

    It appears they've taken down the program (appdata.exe). You're screwed unless somebody happens to have a copy, since CW won't support SONAR 7 or Vista (which is probably why the file's gone). 
     
    You don't actually need the utility to fix the problem, though. It can be done manually. All the tool does is create a registry key if it's missing or overwrite it if it's not missing.
     


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    I do not believe it was removed intentionally. The link was broken during the recent site maintenance. Cakewalk is aware of the issue. In the interim customer support should be able to provide a link to the file.

    Unfortuantely, I had already rolled back my machine (using Rollback) to a time when Cakewalk worked (pre-Vista SP1). Now I'm reinstalling everything that came after. But I did download that file in case this happens again in the future.
