I have the link to download it from the announcement thread and installed it etc. BUT I cant for the life of me find a link on bandlab.com to access the Assistant download.

I just want to know. I must be going blind.

Guess that, as is a Beta, it is not that publicyet. You have to go to

    https://cakewalk.bandlab.com/#the-update
And claim early acces (notice "early" like it is not quite out yet)

The direct download page/link exists but it is not on BL home page
    but is this:

    Bandlab Assistant for Windows
    https://www.bandlab.com/download/assistant/windows

    for Mac

Thanks guys. I also just found a link at the bottom of the Bandlab.com Explore page.

Under the heading ‘Features’ there’s a list. Select ’Download Apps’, then ‘Desktop Assistant’ (beta).

I agree, the links are hard to find. Doesn't gell with the big annoincements when you go to the pages the announcement page links you to and there is nothing obvious there. Why can't there be a clear path laid out for me to follow? If its too hard, I won't bother with it. You can do better bandlab.
