Nah, maybe I havent explained myself properly.

I have a midi controller mixing desk (The Yamaha Pro 1). I am setting up via remote control the faders on the physical desk to control consoles faders in Sonar...this is no problem.

On my physical channel strip on my Yamaha desk I have 16 select buttons above each channel and I want to assign those buttons 1-16 to activate Sonar in selecting whatever corresponding select button I press .... I press SEL 1 on the desk and on screen in Sonars Console it selects Ch1..so on and so forth.

There is no remote control option (at least that I can find) and no ACT function for this (as far as I can find)

    Any thoughts?

No matter, just checked the midi signal and the desk doesnt transmit that button anyway so a bit of a wild goose chase for me there.

    Ta anyway.
