Where's John?

Does anybody know? He hasn't logged in since the end of April.

Thanks-

Yes, I hope he's okay, too. He didn't indicate any intent to leave, so it seems kind of strange for him to just disappear all of a sudden. I think he was gone for a bit when X1 first came out, too, but I don't remember if he said why.

I know people don't like it when folks (esp. new users) make a dramatic exit speech (and then stick around), but OTOH if a long-time member like John leaves (I'm not saying he won't return) I'd actually rather they said something just so we know it's not health-related or anything -- like Billy Arnell (ba_midi) did.

he was gone for a couple of months earlier this year, but returned simply stating that he was "busy."

Sure, but John was a very regular contributor. There are a few others I'd notice by their absence, too.

CJ has kidnapped him and locked him up in his massive, enormous, sophisticated, make-believe studio (as pictured on his website).

As yet, nobody has offered to pay the $4.39 ransom fee.

Why not send him a PM & ask him? He'll get an email notification even if he doesn't log in (unless that particular feature is broken too..)
