Which previous patches can I delete?

I have Sonar X1d Expanded installed.

I have the original X1 DVDs, plus the following downloaded setup files:

1) Sonar X1a Producer patch (~211MB)
2) Sonar X1b Producer patch (337MB)
3) Sonar X1c Producer patch (358MB)
4) Sonar X1c Expanded (349MB)
5) Sonar X1c Expanded quickfix build 434 (22MB)
6) Sonar X1d Expanded patch (283MB)

Which of these would I need to keep if I wanted to re-install X1 Expanded to the latest version?

Do you think it's safe to delete #1,2, and 3? How about #5?

Thanks!

My reinstallation process is as follows..

    Producer from Disks...

    X1 a
    X1 b
    X1 c
    Expanded
    X1 d

    You don't need the quickfixes....

You only have to get to Build 425 which is expanded
    to install d...

So the quickfixes can be deleted...

It's worked flawlessly every time...and I've done it several times...

Why delete them?  You don't need them, but they aren't large.  I wouldn't worry about them and leave them be.

A quicker way to get to the same point is to totally ignore the a & b patches:

    X1 -> X1c -> X1 Expanded -> X1d

This will take you to build 535 which is the most up to date build for X1 (and probably the last)

To the Op, I echo what AT says - they take up no significant space and if you ever need to re-install from scratch they'll be sat on your system, so there's no point in deleting them.

You can delete the a & b patches as they will never be needed.

If Hard Drive space is a problem then maybe it's time for a new drive?

So we can't go from the DVDs directly to expanded?

I backup all my install files, and it would be nice to be able to prune the unneeded Sonar files.

    No...as they stated

The SHORTEST route is Producer DVD to X1c to Expanded to X1d...really no need for A and B...

Well in a month or two they'll all be not needed...

    LOL
    (provided you intend on upgrading)

I still keep mine backed up...ya just never know...

Until Cakewalk tells me that one step in the chain is no longer needed that are all needed. JMO.

No one at Cakewalk has said that, to my recollection, and as stated above, they are NOT space hogs and take about 2 minutes each (speaking a, b, c expanded and d) to install.
