    Right from the start I like the rhythm.  Its comforting.

    Then I like the backing vocals starting near 0:45.  Soft and clean; very soulful.

    Just my thoughts, not a critique, I might add a little depth to the trumpet solo.  It sounds a bit flat.  Brass should ring in a soulful piece as this.  Not trying to indicate that this is easy though.  Reverb may do the trick.

    This song is very melodic and catchy from the beginning.  Your vocal performance is one of the best I've heard in a while.  I like Lance's idea of a touch of reverb or a very short delay on the brass (flugelhorn?) solo.  Other than that, you're in the major leagues.
