White Screen

why is it When I load up projects I get a white screen for a few seconds.. Is this only happening to me? Its something that looks unprofessional when loading up a track while people are watching you, Is there anything I can do? Why dose this only happen in Sonar? I would think the cause is  whats loading up, but all the plugins are the same ones I use in different Daws and never seen a white screen like this, just wondering if Im the only one...

No, it's not only you ... it seems that on "heavier" projects, the screen repainting is so slow that you can actually see it being repainted twice ...

It's definitely not only you John.

Not a showstopper of course -- but not very nice looking.

I don't see that in other hosts, btw.

Sounds like GPU (not CPU). Not enough GPU memory and/or GPU is too slow.

There as been a few threads a while back asking Cake for more specifics about GPU performance... however replies have been very general and not specific at all.

We all get that - But it's better than the Blue Screen of you-know-what.
