Whitney Houston, RIP
What a voice, what a face, what a star. Don't do drugs, kid. They will kill ya dead.

When she was on her game, she was one of the greatest and talented performers (and most beautiful) "of all time..."

Another death by drugs , another M.J. news headliner ! I knew it was just a matter of time , cocain , heavy drinking and smoking just don't mix and she was heavy into that for a long time . She gave up her voice to drugs along time ago and never could bounce back , maybe she died from a heart condition because of all the heavy drugs and drinking in her past . Yes she was a great singer back in her early days and its ashame she threw it all away ! Radio

One of the greatest vocals of all time IMO. So sad to hear the news, another MJ story is right, these people seem to crave escapism and turn to drugs and booze to aid it. RIP

Such a tragedy. The world has lost a huge talent that gave pleasure to millions. My heart goes out to her daughter. There are very few performers in this world I would call a Star. She was. I can only hope those young people today who crave celebrity will now think twice - fame is a hideous burden. May she now rest in perfect peace.

What a shame. LL Cool J's prayer (I didn't watch, saw it on the news) was a real surprise and a great tribute to Whitney. If not for loving family and a great rehab program (2 months) that could have been me! Of course, we still don't know what happened but we know she had a problem. I hope God has room for a woman who did things wrong but seemed to be nice enough and sang like an angel. I want to think so. God bless her and her family.
