Who Are You - Cover
There is a studio out here that runs theme camps that are essentially pay to play gigs for grown-ups. You get 4 rehearsals to learn 8 or 9 songs and then do a battle-of-the-bands gig at the end of it. I’ve done a few of them now since I’ve moved out here and they really are a lot of fun. The skill levels of the guys that participate are all over the place and train wrecks are the norm not the exception.
This is from a few weeks ago and it was not professionally recorded. One of the guy’s wives recorded it, he put it on disc, and then I ripped, edited it and resaved it. I butchered a couple of the fills including the 1
st one which makes me cringe when I hear it … and we edited the crap out of the double bridge section in the middle. Also, I take a little break at the end of the song and you may not believe me but I actually thought about what I was going to play … I guess what you think and what actually happens don’t always coincide.
So, for your amusement … Who Are You (abuse and humorous commentary are welcome):
