Who Here Likes Beer?

I mean , Craft and Micro Brew Beers ...We have a few craft breweries down here  and I love sampling other states products/

Problem is , most beer drinkers here are joe 6 pack types and buy Old Milwaukees Best six pack for $4.00

speaking of which, I wandered into a Walgreens the other day and they are selling  their own brand for 50 cents a can ....

I like beer, but I drink so little nowadays that it only takes one to get me drunk. Usually the sixth one.

Rumour has it that several cases of Strummy's Guinness were diverted to an undisclosed location in Colorado.
    Of course...it's only a rumour.

I hope it's only a rumor - I'd hate to see what Coors Brewing Co. would do to Guinness...

Coors had nothing to do with it.
    The truck was easy prey.
    err...or so I am told.

While doing some factory training in Milwaukee a few years ago, the factory staff decided to take us to this brewery/steakhouse in the downtown area,,,, right on the river. They had the microbrewery thing going on.... big shiny copper kettles in the windows...... little jazz trio in the corner..... nice place.

If I can recall, they had 50 different beers ON TAP and several others in bottled form.  I simply told the bar tender I liked a dark firm tasting beer and allowed him to choose. He chose well.

Also in Arizona a few years back, a small brewery/restaurant also had a very nice dark brew that was superb.

Around here... it's pretty much  Sam Adams, Boston Lager.
