Who else finds it confusing switching from Melodyne to Sonar?
Arghh! I hate myself every time I've been working for some time in Melodyne (right click brings up tool selector) and I switch back to Sonar (middle button brings up HUD). I just can't seem to train my brain not to keep clicking the right button when I want the HUD and vice versa Anyone else?

When you do it enough times, you will achieve muscle memory and it will be 2nd nature to you. Give it time, if you find it confusing. Are you saying you're a sharke, with the memory of a goldfish?... Actually, a goldfish is smarter than a shark The goldfishes brain is larger than the sharks brain when taking their proportions into account. CJ

If goldfish are smarter than sharks then how come they end up trapped in little bowls? Riddle me that!

I read this a couple of days ago... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pitch_correction"In 2010, Teddy Riley claimed that the processing of Michael Jackson's voice with Melodyne caused fans to question the authenticity of the voice on the posthumous album Michael. Riley claimed that because he did not have a "final vocal" from Jackson, Melodyne had to be used "to make his voice work with the actual music," "to get him in key" and this resulted in the vibrato sounding "a little off" or "over-processed." Sorry off topic but found this interesting...

You can hear heavy Melodyning (or autotuning I guess since the time-span is a little tight) on the entire Invincible album which wasn't posthumous at all. I've gotten used to switching mouse button clicks by now but it sure would be nice if Melodyne had a "Sonar mapping mode". From a UI POV it's pretty non-sensical.

There in little bowls so the sharks do not eat them. Isnt that obvious? There are many sharks in tanks as well, and when you take their size into proportion, they probably have about the same real estate. CJ

Personally, I find the centre click thing in Sonar extremely irritating as it's the only thing I use where I have to do this so I habitually right click and having to move across to the track inspector and faff around with that for simple things like clip properties that used to be on the right click menu right where you are already looking is right up there on my.......oh ffs why the hell have they done that (?) list.

Then again, maybe the goldfish look outside through the glass wondering if we are trapped...

Well if they do, they're quite clearly dumb. We leave for work in the morning and return hours later with grocery bags. Should be able to put 2 and 2 together from that.
