Who here likes feeding Bapu?
Well, please stop! It's not healthy either for you (less becan!) or the bapu: He will begin to lose his natural fear of other CH members, become acclimated to us and we'll never get rid of him. Fear of us is a bapu's most important survival mechanism. Once bapus lose their fear of us there is little incentive for them to avoid circumstances that bring the two of us together. Bapu encounters could easily result in a dangerous situation, both for us and the bapu. It must be remembered that bapu may react to the presence of us in unpredictable ways. He may also start to search out food in other forums not equipped to deal with him. All becan should be kept locked up and out of reach at all times for our own good!
In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

If you, or any of your loved ones have been Bapu'd, it's not too late to seek help. There are numerous Bapu-hab treatment centers to choose from. Selecting a certified Bapu therapist is essential, but is only a first step. Bapu prevention requires careful planning and attention to detail. In order to safeguard your property from a Bapu incursion, send all of your becan to me. I will secure it properly. Honest. Next, play a C# sus4. Bapu will think it's jazz and will stay far, far away. In addition, there is a wide range of Bapu Avoidance products available from The Bouy, LTD either online or via catalog. Remember, Bapu Am as Bapu Am. He needs your help so he Am somewhere else safely. Won't you help? Operators are standing by.

The Bouy, LTD either online or via catalog. At no less than amazing prices I hasten to add. Also you can feed Bapu as much as you like, but like some wily old catfish there's no guarantee he will bite.

K I'll try , but what if he's peeking in the window with those sad eyes? Craig that is one magnificent breakfast sandwich in your avatar, perhaps if you change it to a salad he may calm down a bit?

All I have to do is stay online and you won't see it (since it's my "offline" avatar). Of course, if I do, I'll just be feeding Bapu more so therein lies the conundrum!

Maybe Online Time flows differently for Bapu than in Normal Time. That may explain how Bapu is able to post at superhuman speeds. So, is Bapu able to transcend human limitations because he's Online, or has he somehow slowed our perception so that he only appears freakishly fast? Did anyone see what just happened to my becan? It was here a moment ago, then there was blur, and it was gone.

We refer to this phenomenom as the "Bapu Time Continuum Vortex" so young children aren't duly frightened.
