Who's Copying Who???

Have you noticed most DAW and Plugin companies are using the same web page format lately? The main page, at least.

Two words - Wordpress themes. There are a handful of really popular commercial ones which get used on site after site and so that's why loads of sites have the same look about them recently. Plus there is a general trend toward full width horizontal bands of content and things like parallax scrolling, 2D design elements etc. I quite like today's sites though, they look a hell of a lot better than sites did 10-15 years ago.

I had a clone once. He was an affable, easy-going guy, in spite of his obvious physical repulsiveness. While I thought his impersonation of me was a tad exaggerated, most people thought he nailed it.

All was going well until the day that I imitated him. Copying a copy of yourself does not cause a rip in the fabric of space/time, but it leaves a scorch mark.

My prime self told me that he would not make the same mistake with his clone.

My clone said he was going out to "have some work done" and I haven't seen him since.

I doubt that there would be much action involving any clone of mine.

In that context, the idea sure does explain a lot!

I can't afford adjectives until next month.  I guess I'll just have to settle for a few expletives until then.
