Does anyone know how to "renew" the subscription if you bought Platinum in one purchase (which comes with 12 mo.'s free updates)?

Something else to add regarding Mac OSX support. Personally, just from my eyes, when perusing the Sweetwater catalog and keeping up with how each DAW maker is presented, it seems most, if not all of them all have the [M][W] by their catalog photos, except Logic and Sonar. Purely from a marketing perspective, that would seem a bit of a disadvantage. When you look at the Cakewalk's main marketing site, and see a picture of a Mac running a Cakewalk Instrument, this would seem a bit odd as well. Understandable, but odd.
The enigma here is that there's some implication (that I'd infer as a newcomer) that Cakewalk maybe working to bring Sonar to OS X. However, if that's not the case, it's just strange to offer one product for both Windows and MAC, but not the flagship.

I don't think there's much work involved in making sure a VSTi works in Logic, compared to the huge amount it would take to port Sonar to macs. So the instruments are offered because they can.

It's been trouble free for me for quite a while now. Everything seems to work great. At the end of each month now I have a surplus of unused swear words.

We have that covered. Just record them, send the project file to us and we'll recycle it for free :)
